Woodstones Coaches has been operating since 1957 in Kidderminster, moving to modern purpose built premises on Hoo Farm Industrial Estate in 1983. The coaches are engaged on a variety of school contract and private hire work across the West Midlands. The company policy is to replace a third of the fleet every year.

The latest news for Woodstones Coaches Limited is that we have just secured a deal for 2 brand new coaches, that will replace 2 of our present coaches in March 2010.  53 / 57 seaters with wheelchair access again, euro V engines (lower emissions).

53 / 57 / 70 seater coaches

The safe transport of schoolchildren is always on the political agenda, but purpose-built school vehicles don’t have to be uncomfortable and utilitarian. We chose the Plaxton body as it was was one of the pioneers of high capacity single deck coaches for school and contract use, Profile 70 offers all the benefits of the standard coach but with increased capacity. For large groups and school parties the Profile 70 offers the safety of a strong steel structure and high-backed coach seats fitted with three-point belts – so young passengers not only get safety, they get comfort too.

Staff

All of the staff at Woodstones Coaches Limited are professional and have a very good understanding of the requirements of being a coach driver for the company.  As a large proportion of our work is with Schools, they are checked to the enhanced level of the CRB

Accessibility for all.

We believe that anyone should be able to enjoy the benefits of our coaches. Wheelchair entrance is via the side lift located at the side centre entrance. One wheelchair can be accommodated and secured in place with the appropriate straps combining with the occupant seat belt, where a wheelchair is accommodated, 4 seats are removed in the 53 / 57 seaters and 6 seats are removed in the 70 seaters

Service

All of our vehicles are maintained in our purpose built Workshop and by the local Volvo dealer. We have a dedicated team of highly skilled engineers and a full back up service 24 hrs a day, seven days a week in the UK.  All of this ensures that you reach your destination and back again with peace of mind.
